Welcome to the Academy of Real Estate's online 60-hour Maryland Principles and Practice of Real Estate course. This course has been approved by the Maryland Higher Education Commission and the Maryland Real Estate Commission and satisfies the necessary educational requirements to sit for the Maryland Real Estate Salesperson Examination. Upon your successful completion of this class you will receive a Ceritificate of Completion and your completion will be reported electronically to PSI so you can schedule your State licensing exam.  This class is designed to prepare you to take the Maryland Real Estate Salesperson State Licensing Exam. 

The entire cost of the course is $290.
$245 tuition and $45 non-refundable registration fee. 

All reading materials are included.

There are no additional required costs.

Requirements:

You have 90 days from the date you purchased the class to complete the class and all your exams. You will need to complete the minimum required minutes for each of the units of the online class and the unit quizzes, the Final Unit Practice Exam online and an in person live proctored exam through the Academy of Real Estate prior the 90 days expiration date. It is important to complete all the course work and the online practice final exam in a time period that will allow you time to schedule and take the final exam in person with the assigned school proctor. There are no extensions allowed under any circumstances. Once you complete and pass the live exam in person, your course completion will be reported electronically so you can take the State Licensing Exam which is administered by PSI. 

Enrollment:

You cannot begin the class until all paperwork has been received. Please print out and read our Course Catalog for details about the course itself and our school policies. You must be a least 18 years old to obtain a Maryland real estate license. The Maryland Higher Education Commission requires that the school have evidence of a potential student's prior education achievement which would indicate a likelihood of the student's ability to successfully complete the program. Therefore, at a minimum, you must provide evidence of educational achievement equal to a U.S. high school diploma. In the event that a high school diploma, GED certificate, college degree, etc. is not available, the school shall administer, through its representative, the Wonderlic Scholastic Level test. Details available in the school catalog.  

Please complete, sign and return the Enrollment Agreement and the Enrollment Addendum to the Academy of Real Estate at our email address: AcademyofRealEstate@Gmail.com along with the evidence of a minimum level of prior educational achievement equal to a U.S. high school diploma. Upon the school's satisfactory receipt of your paperwork we will guide you through the simple procedures to complete your registration, payment and start your coursework online.

Reminder: Upon completion of the coursework and passing the practice exam online, you will have to attend a live proctored final exam in one of our designated offices or via a live remote proctor system.  You will be allowed two (2) attempts to pass the final exam. Students have 90 days from the date of purchase to complete the class and pass all final exams. No extensions will be granted.
